Does anyone have any info on this great movie. This movie was a big hit with every song a super hit. Iam surprised that I have not seen the dvd of this movie yet.

Pardesi, I think you are referring to 1964 Rajshri's Dosti. This one won national awards and was winner of 6 or 7 Filmfare awards. Haven't seen this one on DVD's. This one known for some great scoring by laxmikant Pyarelal. You might be able to find this one in VHS.

Thanks, that was exactly the movie I was referring to.
All of it's songs were wonderful. To generate interest, here are the songs:

Rajshri Production's classic film Dosti, is one of the very few hindi films to ever bring tears out of me. :( Again, this is another one of those films that deserves a Digital Entertainment Inc. treatment for a DVD.

Just saw Dosti DVD at a local Desi video store. The cover says
from Rajshri collections & distributed by Rajshri, took that with a grain of salt,will try to find out more as the sales person was clueless about technical aspects of this DVD.
