The Shroffs – Jackie and Ayesha – have never had it so good. Before the year comes to an end, they will have two films (as producers!) releasing one after the other. While SANDHYA will hit the screens in October, BOOM, with Kaizad Gustad as director, will arrive in December.

While on BOOM, Mrs. Shroff tells me that they have ambitious plans of releasing the film in the international circuit. “It may open doors for producers who are planning to expand their horizons,” she says, “At the moment, we are negotiating with a leading studio to give the film a proper international release. It won't be right to reveal more at this stage.”

Incidentally, both SANDHYA and BOOM have been completed within a couple of months.

While on BOOM, a majority of people are under the impression that it's an English film. But the fact is that the characters in the film speak in Hindi, English and Marathi. “Madhu Sapre, for instance,” Ayesha Shroff reveals, “delivers her lines in Marathi as well as English, while Katrina speaks only in English. And of course, there are certain characters who have Hindi dialogues to mouth.” Interesting, isn't it?

Boom: Tongue twister

If you thought that Kaizad Gustaad's Boom was an English film then wait for a moment. You need to rethink coz Boom has not only dialogues in English and Hindi but also (believe it or faint) in Marathi. Madhu Sapre mouths her dialogues in Marathi and English. Kratina speaks only English while the other characters speak Hindi and English. Hmmm... this is one "different" film one is surely looking forward to.

Amitabh Bachchan Goes Bank Robbing Again in Boom

By: Planet Bollywood Special Correspondant
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is some more information you may not have heard on this years much talked about stylish drama Boom. Quest Films multi-starrer which features names like Amitabh Bachchan, Naseerudin Shah, Zeenat Aman will have music by the acclaimed musician Talvin Singh.

The maestro has been roped in to create sounds perfect for the modelling scene and the thrilling sequences to follow. What many don´t know however, is this film also involves getting diamonds and running with a loot. If Amitabh is indeed involved this will be his third release [this year] dealing with a robbery.
:baaa: ;)

****Doesnt he is a robber in KAANTE too???? :bangbang: :baaa:
