i was going to ask for you address, so that i can give you $5.00 as a courtesy. Since IW only will do something if they can dig any information about you. But i remember you dont like to give your information out. shucks!

Dont' mind satya, say whatever you like.. i am sure there are others who would find you amusing as well.

one who try to spit on the sky, kind-a spit at themselves. visitors take note!

I would not have started my Indian DVD collection with out neither Zulm nor Indiaweekly (because of their reasonable and down to earth prices). I also give credit to Indiancdstore for their cheap DEI/EROS titles.

no no...i agree to the part where its cheap..i bought lot of dvds from them man....they are a very good site...and i also talked to some very loyal, kind people too....i made most of my collection of them too....and i might in the future planning to get it from there too....but i was just arguing about the s & h and the part where i had to pay to return and they did not refund that..but its ok.....i dont want money back now..its been a long time.....i think most of the people here are indiaweekly.com reps....thats why they defending them so bad.....some of them are prob. next door neighbors too....hey i made my point and they made theirs....its all good....i know i cant win with them....but i tried....:)

PS:.i still love you people :)

Shuman.. the second site which you posted..
http://www.cddvdonline.com
Looks like a pirate to me ? Why just look at their price for Mohabbatein .. Firstly the cover doesnt look genuine and secondly even IW *HAS* to sell Yashraj DVDs as they dont get any leverage over their purchase costs...

chalo, pre-order kar ley-te hain. :doze:

o well, every websites have some or more these errors. the one i found almost error-free was the dei website http://www.indianfilmsdvd.com, but there were still type-os, did want to point them out, but they never responded back to any of my emails :vangry:

if you look closely, you will find some in indiaweekly(wrong year, synopsis-less..), indiancdstore(wrong casts), indiaplaza(wrong prices, wrong dates), everywhere even in zulm (dead links galore). cdstore.com.pk (DEI warehouse) is the best places to look for these kinds of error. you will find DEI titles that not even DEI knew that he authored. :D ???

My take on this whole indiaweekly.com debate is your spending your hard earned money and only you can decide how to best spend it. If you don’t like indiaweekly’s S & H charges or whatever else then take your business somewhere else, there are alot of other online retailers willing to take you money. As for the rest of us satisfied customers we'll continue shopping at IW.

Out!!!!!!!!!!

....if your dvd comes fucked up, you will have to pay extra fees to send it back and plus, they wont even refund that shit....their ans will be like "well we are also spending that much too to send you so we cant do anything about that"....that was the ans. i got when i ordered last time.....which was prob. around a year ago....

Please provide proof that you are a real customer and then we will believe you. If you are not fake then you will have a real order number/real customer name/ real email address etc to back your statement. It has happened so many times in the past and each time a competitor tries to bad mouth Indiaweekly posing as fake customer, they back out when people ask for proof.

Here is a copy of a few emails. Now they either refund return postage or they dont. They appear to be somewhat confused.

I have changed names etc for privacy purposes. What is the point in refunding DVD cost, the whole point of ordering from the UK is that you order a suificcient number of DVDs to get a lower avergage handling cost per DVD.

Please note in my opinion IW do have the best prices (esp with price matching/beating) but if they could improve service they would be the best online retailer of indian DVDs.

i think, bigman should be refunded whole shipping. if shipping to overseas is costly or if there is any condition on refunding. that should be clearly outlined on the website.

after-all, as for us (customers) are concerned, we care for the dvd, we dont care what the seller makes or loses.

---
and as for them not sending the replacement disc first; i dont understand no one wants to send replacement item or initial item before hand. i mean i wish there were someone who would give service/good first, so that if we (customers) want, we can either go ahead and purchase it, or pay nothing at all and return it.. would be a great idea, wouldn't that be? :oo: especially music cds, just make the mp3s out of it and return it. that would be cool. :)
