I was just about to post this!!!

I think it's quite worrying when you have Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty and Aditya Pancholi playing college students!!!

Still, this movie does sound like a good comedy - the trailor and the 'special effects' were a laugh riot (unintentional of course) - let's hope the movie is more of the same!!!

this movie has flop written all over it. even though i'm a akshay fan there's no denying the fate of this flick. might get a good opening due to the cast but that's all the director can hope for.

Bhaskar whats the problem if Akshay plays a college student ? Is it cos of his age ?.. Do you think that all college students have to be in their early teens ? ... Hell think of those students who may have had a trouble childhood :D, abused and dis-abused :D ?
But Khiladi no doubt this is gonna be a flop. I wonder why Raj Kumar Kohli likes to dwelve in these kinda supernatural flicks.... His only worthwhile supernatural flick happens to be Jaani Dushman (yup! ) of the 1970s which had Sanjeev Kumar in that memorable role of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde ( and also that lovely song.. my Md. Rafi, chalo re doli)

From what I've heard, Munish Kohli and Manisha koirala have lead roles - everyone else is in a guest appearance.

this movie seems like a remake of Naagin, and in that movie, some of the actors had major roles. Munish Kohli is playing the Reena Roy character so yes he does have the biggest role.

However if you look at the similarities between the two films, it looks like Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty will have the second biggest roles (especially since Akshay's doing the Sunil Dutt role - who was the hero of the older film). And since this is Sonu's first big-profile film, I doubt he'll have a small role.

But yes one thing is certain, Sunny Deol will only have a brief role.

Also, if you've seen the trailer you can tell who dies/doesn't die.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

Munish Kills Sharad Kapoor, and then becomes him (with crappy FX!<!--emo&;). That means Sharad dies. And Munish has the ability to become his victims.

Sunny stabs Sonu Nigam! Since Sonu's his younger brother in the film, Sunny is obviously the fake character played by Munish. Therefore Sunny is dead aswell.

Akshay has several different fight scenes with Munish (jumpkick, gunshots, motorbike chase) so it's obvious that he has the biggest footage and is possibly the only survivor at the end.

Most of the rest are no-name or smaller actors so they'll be killed off for sure!

naa bhai, main pagal nahin hoon :D

I just meant that it's a role reversal trick - Munish will play the male version of Reena's role just like in Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, Salman played the male version of Sandra Bullock from While You Were Sleeping.

Basically, Jaani Dushman looks like a copy of Naagin, except that the guy will take the revenge instead of a girl. That means that while in Naagin, Reena was taking revenge for Jeetendra's death, in this new film, Munish is taking revenge for Manisha's death.

Samjhe bhai??? Kya mujhe aur kuch samjhana karega??

And main sharaab utna nahin peeta :D :D :D

no man, you didn't create any bad feelings!!!

I was just laughing out loud when you read my post!!! :D :D

hehe

back to the topic, the movie looks ok-ish... If it has cool Akshay/Sunny action combined with passable FX then it will be ok.

Most of the actors suck though (Sharad Kapoor, Aditya Pancholi, Arshad Warsi).
