Hi,

Wonder if you of you Technophiles can help me?

I recently acquired a domain name and I want to set Outlook Express to enable me to send e-mails that show my domain.

At the moment, my domain e-mails are diverted to my personal account, and when I reply the out going message shows my personal e-mail instead of my domain address.

Please help!

Setup up another email account in Outlook express with your domain email address or change your current outlook express email account so that reply address is your domain address.

Hi Ali,

It doesn't work for me because my ISP (Freeserve) apparently do not support other domain e-mails. Any idea which ISP would support it? Was going to try AOL, but was told there is no chance. Help. Please...

You need to setup the server settings. First of all you need to set your "(incoming mail) POP3 server" and "(outgoing mail) SMTP server", try using your domain name for these settings if that does not work contact the company that you are using to host your domain (your site and mail server company) and ask them for your POP3 and SMTP settings.
Hope this helps.

Thanx Sanjay.

My domain host has said that I must use the SMTP settings that my ISP provide. I have asked them, but the trouble is my ISP have said they do not support other domains, only their own.

So I first need to find an ISP who is flexible enough to support other domains as well as their own. Any ideas anyone??

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. As far as ISPs are concerned, your local small time ISPs are generally a lot more flexible with these issues. Another idea worth trying is to use the SMTP address of someone else who has their own domain or just try out a few domain names at random.
