Jeff just one word though... (a request)... When IW was still in its infancy we folks here @ zulm spread the word around. I see that Indian Films are now being appreciated by folks other than the "usual suspects". So in this case if you have any friends who would like to buy or at least rent Hindi Dvds you know where you will direct them to :) ... I did that when I was just like you a new customer with IW...and more than 1 year later, still going strong !

Cheerz and enjoy Aishwariya Rai in da film :)

3) Is it just me or did Moulin Rouge "borrow" heavily from this film??

Well, the director himself said that he owes a lot to Bollywood in general, and that he looks there for his inspiration. I don't think you can say that Moulin Rouge borrowed heavily from only this film; rather, it was basically a bad Bollywood film (too abstract) that brought musical love stories back to the American masses.

Awaaz, "IW is good" doesn't imply that they will advise you on which version to buy, but they will get you the version you ask for. Decision and selection has to be yours.

an example of their delivery times... i have placed 3 orders with them in the last 5 weeks or so... and the orders have reached me in 5 business days max... my latest order.. i placed it on 3rd july night... i got a email from them on 4th july , which is a holiday in the US that it has been shipped and that they had shipped the dei version that i wanted.. and 9th july i had the dvd in my hand... this makes it 4 business days.... so if u r in north america then their delivery is pretty fast.. i am not sure of outside NA...

as for their service, I actually got a call from them today asking me if i had received the dvd and whether it was indeed the dei version.... i was surely very happy by their service...
