Guys. Can someone point to me which vendor may have the 2nd version of this DVD with the extras on it? Would Indiaweekly.com have it ?

Thanks much

Is there a difference in the picture and sound quality between this version and the one released first. IS the sound on this DVD in 5.1 unlike the first DVD which was not?

Video is exactly the same on both DVDs of Aks - second dual disc has proper 5.1 sound unlike the first Eros version.

I got the ek rishtaa/aks two pack (they only charge you for one item shipping) Ek Rishta was 2 discs but aks was the single disc and the quality is really poor. Barely passes as a dvd.

The extras on AKs includes a 45 min making of and interviews with cast and crew. The making of is quite good and shows some behind the scenes work.

How does one tell the difference between the two different versions. I would like to buy a copy with the proper 5.1 sound, but would hate to end up with the same disc that I already have.

The version with Extras and real 5.1 comes packaged as a 2 disc set whereas the other one is a single disc

Actually, this is the version that Ali reviewed where the pic was still 33% squashed anamorphic. IW site doesn't say whether its a 1 disc or 2 disc version. 1 disc version did not even have proper DD 5.1.

If any one gets hold of the current version, could you please let us know if the anamorphic pic has been corrected and if it has proper DD 5.1.

Thanks.

Rana
