She's probably from a trailer from another movie. How did you get your dvd profile up?

Yes from a trailer on the DVD - Dil Hai Tumhara - releasing 23rd August according IndiaFM

Ali
BTW all the above shots are from trailers, promos, menus from the LOBS DVD apart from the bottom one, that's from the actual film – rest to come once me and Arsh get out communication problems sorted.

Masti u mean the links below the Devdas picture ?...

Just downloaded DVD profiler and made a profile..For the Indian DVD stuff i have to still see if Ali can sort out the FTO Thingy then I can implement a zulm.net version of the profile also

Arsh one more question :- From the screencaps I can see that the print look real lousy. Is it an interlaced source ? what is the avg bit rate used for coding ?

Ok, I'll notch one down for you Arsh. But consider yourself lucky, cuz I was offered LOBS when I went to return MYKSH. Since I was busy for 2 straight nights, I wouldn't have the time to watch the movie, so I refused. As for BHB, you can notch one down for yourself there too; after all the terrible reviews, I don't plan on wasting $2 renting that crap. After LOBS, I'll probably see Humraaz next.

Sorry for a bit confusion here, i stay corrected on this!
above shots are from the making and trailor only! along with menues.

Second file has been sent to ali, to supplement shts from main features, aftr sorting out communication problems!

Average bit rate around 4.5(4.3-5.4)

Picture, non anamorphic but looks quite crisp and good, als it should have been anamorphically enhanced...color fidelity is pretty good to T..I liked it mostly.Damn Tips, for not giving anamorphic version..

Prog..possibly yes? ali to confirm? after reviewing feature file.

DD 5.1 sound very good for this kinda drama, kinda like Lagaan, done very well background score by Rehman!!

Extra features are okish decent..could be better.

Overall, film, has punch, very good filming, camera work and very sleek look to it...miles better from Shaheed iMHO.
Rehman's music is really, powerful/energetic for the film and is a bonus.

Highly recomended for viewing...The Best Bhagat singh film..But might be politically incorrect(portrayal of Gandhi baba)

For buying..possibly fine? if u dont want to wait for anamorphic version..thats i am afraid wont happen?

I would rate this transfer, videowise better than RAAZ from tips, IMO! :baaa:

Review up;

http://www.zulm.net/modules....order=0

..definitely not from a progressive source. Looks more like a hi-res VCD than a DVD, sharpness in particular is poor partly due to the non-anamorphic source used and partly down to the amount of processing done – aliasing, compression problems and flickering are noticeable throughout. And still after all this time subtitles are still being placed on the black bars where they are not readable on widescreen TVs :bangbang: muppets in charge indeed!

Ali

Tips LOBS DVD:
Nope. Not even Pseudo Prog.
It's fully field averaged. All frames give combing in "Force Weave" setting.
