Received Koshish, Guide, Aashirwad and Upkar today, from Indiaweekly. Its exam week, so haven't watched any of them yet. Here are some preliminary impressions about the Koshish DVD from DEI.

1) Print used is not in good condition. There are green spots in a number of scenes, and white specks and dots appear thoughout the movie.

2) As others have mentioned, DEI seems to be slacking in the quality department. The transfer is soft in a number of scenes. The image also appears blurred in many scenes containing motion.

3) Maybe this is a standard feature of the "Evergreen Classics" line, but a "Trailor" is inluded.

Overall, not a great product from DEI. Buy the disk only if you MUST have this movie in your collection.

Just a note on screen shots; the above are at the wrong aspect ratio - should be 4:3. I think there these have been captured with PowerDVD which has bug that doesn’t capture at the proper AR sometimes.

I noticed the wrong AR, but didn't know what to do. I'm using WinDVD.

Not to worry - when I get some time I'll copy them on the local server and correct them. Must be something more than a bug in PowerDVD, if you got them from WinDVD ???
