Can someone tell me about the flick American Chai, it's listed as opening this weekend in the local newspaper here in Houston. It says it about 3 indian-americans coming of age and it's rated R for some sexual dialogue!!!

According to Rotten Tomatoes, 10 out of 16 reviews were positive. However, even the positive reviews aren't exactly glowing recommendations. I might see this film on video because Paresh Rawal is in it, but American Chai doesn't look like a must-see.

The New York Times gave it a B-, saying it had a few funny moments!! I'll probably wait till it comes out on DVD to watch it!!!

American Desi hasnt had a release on dvd yet has it???its been agez..i remember eros had the rights to the film..anyone know whats happening with it?
