As bad as Chandni Bar DVD in places - very dark, hard to make out faces of people. Poor colours, worn out print used for transfer. Proper 5.1 sound though. Another decent movie ruined by Eros

..those shots were taken from trailers way before any of these films were released – none have lived up the quality show on the trailers (apart from Shararat which has not released yet – but Eros are probably butchering this right this minute!).

If Indian DVD piracy ever needed an endorsement then Eros have just given them a good advertisement with the Bawandar DVD. This DVD is one of the worst I’ve seen – it is pretty un-watchable.

It’s worst than the Chandni Bar DVD. Who ever keeps on arguing that because these film are rushed to combat piracy and hence quality is poor is living in denial! Bawandar has not been rushed out, Eros have had sufficient time to get basics right – yet you see the promos and behind the scenes on the same DVD and wonder about the non-existence link between piracy and quality :rolleyes:

Ali, I have always taken the position and said as much, that Eros & Video Sound are the biggest promoters of piracy. The fact is they don't give a damn about quality or the customer. All they care about is a quick buck. Shortsighted fools, is what I say.

Such wonderful films killed off by EROS (those wankers). Sorry for my harsh language but they really are a bunch of wankers. I know they do come to this website, so I'm sure they are reading this. HEAR OUR CRY LULLA!

You know what makes it worse. The fact that Eros or B4U are not companies owned by small time guys. The owners of these companies are some of the richest Indians in the world. So it's not like they need the money or are short of the resources to do justice to their DVDs.
I guess having a lot of money is no guarantee of being honest or not greedy.

this really sucks........ i dont know why they compromise on the quality so much... are they not gonna lose in the long run cos anyway many of us stay away from the erosb4u label..... ajnabee was slightly decent but they seem to be back at what they do best with bawander.
