Preliminary impression
Good
- original aspect ratio maintained with correctly framed video at 2.40:1,
16x9 enhanced
- reasonably clean source used with minimal blemishes
- excellent Dolby Digital 5.1 sound
- original trailer and TV spots included as extras
Bad
- video is rather soft and never as sharp as it should be
- colour rendition is slightly weak
- in places the video is dark, dull and shadow detail is lacking
- the audio seems have been censored for profanities - one scene in particular
caught my attention when Amrish Puri dialog is cut short, 18mins into
the film - he seems to be saying either 'fool' or 'bastard' - when the
sound is blanked out over this point!
- no real extras
