Thanks again to Bhaskar for gettting these screen shots;

"The DVD is slightly worse than typical Eros - the colours are about the same, but the sharpness levels seem lower. The DVD isn't anamorphic as stated, which makes things worse, and the subtitles aren't 16:9 friendly. The sound is a decent 5.1 mix done properly."

After discussion with Ali, it seems as though this might be one of the infamous pirates, which look identical to the original thing. However, no chance of me getting a refund on it, cos the cover has the Eros hologram stuck on, so it must be original :rolleyes:

It could just be that Eros have messed up again - I remember hearing that the Karobaar DVD was labelled as anamorphic, but wasn't.

Forget to mention it earlier but I came across two copies of Maa Tuhje Salaam DVDs. Compare them side by side you can spot slight differance in the covers, similar to what anwar_hatela has mentioned a couple times. The silver title writing on the original is not on the fake, it’s just in normal black ink. Also the fake DVD has "NOT FOR SALE IN UK" marked out. Both DVD have the Eros sliver hologram sticker that supposedly verifies if it is genuine – although the serial numbers printed are in different type face.

The fake DVD has non-anamorphic video and 2.0 sound, while the original is anamorphic and 5.1. Menus and chapter selection are same on the both!

That’s why I thought this KDKP DVD might have been a pirate too, never can tell for certain these days.
