Thanks for the shots, UL bhai! Anything's better than the horrible 21st Century DVD. Looks like I can finally enjoy 'Payal Meri'. 8)

Would have been the perfect candidate for Umrao Jaan! Thats my conviction and it is not up for debate here! Anyone think otherwise will do well to read from the borrowed statement below! My friend ( YES<>MY FRIEND) could not have stated it any better!

every one has right to their own sweet or bitter assumptions!

I do not have any intentions to create Traish vs Rekha Vs Meena Kumari Vs Madhuri , akhaada or Maha bharat!! There could be a seperate Bak Bak beauty contest thread for that purpose possibly.

Whether some one want to post here!! well and good! Or might choose expressing their dadageeri in their own sweet bitter ways in bak bak!

extremely good looking transfer by shemaroo!

aapke moun main ghee shakar! aapki baat badi ho!! aap ne tou hamari moun ki cheen li

James your money is right on! it could not be better than this beauty with brain and substance choice for the role.

imho! even at that time the most vigorous contemporary of Rekha, glamdoll, dream girl, Hema Malini will absolutely be a failure for the same role and even roles of Khubsurat and Ijazat played by Rekha!

No doubt being a superstar, dream girl, hema imho, was not an ACTRESS of same substance and Calibre as Rekha!

Rekha her self quoted from acting point, Kajol to be the best bet for Umrao, but I respectfully differ, Kajol's non glamorous looks, lack, of ADAA! and not being a trained dancer would be a NO NO for me, making her unsuitable for the role!! For rest left over she would sleep walk indeed!

But Arsh(Aish) is beauty/dancer, with no brain, substance and histrionics.

recent pic from yatra, where khyam fails miserably on music.

recent pic from 2006 dutta classics, where anu succeeds but Dutta and his beauty will fail miserably, most likely!imho

21st Century was not that bad, obviously Shemaroo is better apart from its visible logo.

Very profound statement but pointless Bhaiyya! It's like water on duck back! The brainless still misses it and chastises others for spelling errors!

No, that's the original Spark release. I believe it's identical to the 21st Century DVD.

I just bought this DVD and enjoyed the movie. I love the songs and the dancing is especially excellent. Gosh, Madhuri is so beautiful. I love the dafli song and Yeh Khubsoorat Badan. WOW.

The transfer is excellent!!!! Was great to see Madhuri and Reena Roy share the same screen. While the plot of the movie is daft, i still enjoyed. I wish Aruna Irani as the witch had more time on screen and magic. I thought the fight sequences with the sparks flying from the swords was a bit overdone, hey but what the heck, i still enjoyed the movie

Kudos to Shemaroo for the amazing transfer. Just goes to show what a big difference it makes, are the DVD authors of Jodhaa Akbar listening???
