I am using Intervideo WinDVD and not PowerDVD and the shots were taken at the default settings. I will have look around to see if something can be adjusted!

I do have the option of adjusting the setting to 4:3 ratio when it does not appear squished, but the default settings definately appear to be widescreen as I tried it in several different software. This is strange as the film is unlikely to be widescreen...

Anyway, I prefer the colours in my video print... See the comparison here:

Are you saying video ratio looks better, and DVD by comparison looks really squished?

Okay, I'll do some of the DVD shots on 4:3 ratio - let me what you think!
