does anyone know if yahraj will take out this movie like all the other karan johar movies or will it be someone else, since yrf didnt take out the music? i wish it has good 5.1 sound this movie was scarey in some scene (from the sound) at the i max best thriller/horrer movie ever (for bollywood)

yes yashraj will put DVD out, likely end of next month or in first 2 weeks of july.

I caught Kaal at the weekend, and thought it was a decent film - nice to see something different from the usual Karan Johar stuff. It wasn't scary at all - even the 12 year old girls sitting behind me who insisted on talking through the entire film didn't think so. I personally didn't think the film was scary cos it wasn't shocking enough - it builds up to it's scary scenes so yuo know something is going to happen.

As for the DVD, well, the film has plenty of dark scenes, so the DVD is gonna be awful.

yes rana its just asking abt the audio since its almost 99.9% going to be a crap transfer,
to me like it wasnt scarey but i dont know what you call it when there is a super huge loud sound for a seconed that you didnt expect, like u jump a little

nehaflix has it on preorder and said to be out june. 1st while yrf dont have the preorder on their website yet

DVD released. The packaging is horrible (probably packed in India with cheap quality DVD case). Have to watch the dvd to see the PQ.

is there any special features? like the complete song video of naasha, kaal dhamaal, tauba tauba ( with 5.1 sound)? and anything else on it?

thx the dvd doesnt look to bad at least you can see them in the dark ( a little) but not as close to the detail i saw on the big screen
btw urban how is the dd5.1 do theyu make good use of it?

I aint no 5.1 expert like the others on this site but the 5.1 sounds pretty good .. front speakers are more active and rears for special effects and surround sound.

The songs are done under the special features section and have are all 2ch, the first kaal dhamaal song is cropped aspect while the other two songs are proper aspect ratio. I will try to get screen shots tomorrow, going to bed now, job interview tomorrow
