No the quality of the movie itself is like that. During the transfer from DV to film role they may have lost the quality, but in theatre its the same print. I am going to wait for tamil version (not sure who is going to release, cuz ayngaran didnt have the rights)

Yes. Its one of the best comedy I have seen in many years. The closest to me is Sathi Leelavathi (again Kamal - Tamil) and Michael Madana Kama Rajan (again Kamal - Tamil). I saw twice in theatre, first just to laugh and second time to observe BGM by Illayaraja. I saw in Tamil and I liked it, but I am sure Hindi will follow since it has good artists in Hindi also. Its a different kinda comedy. No story - straight into laughing

also as you can see from the SS, unlike anyother movie where the characters are comedians , this movie the characters are very serious people doing some serious stuff , but what happens around them makes you laugh

Bombay Express is a very old Tamil movie starring Kamal and Madhavi. Its a crap movie in Tamil. They released at the time of mumbai xpress to confuse the consumers. I safely avoided Bombay Express.

The interesting (and incorrect) thing is that they used MX stills for this DVD also, which is totally wrong.

I think this is the worst movie ever. I am sorry tamil movie fans. I think for tamilians and actual north indians..humour are different. I have noticed that in the past where what Tamilians find funny..mostly Hindi movie buffs wont find it funny.

I also think Kamal hassan can overact a lot. Dont get me wrong. He was great in Chachi 420 but that was mostly due to Amrish Puri & Om Puri..veteran Hindi actors who helped a southern star.

If you want to "make" yourself laugh at funny situations that arent really funny...like being called "MUmbai Express" ..be my guest....but this movie is a waste of time and money for anyone who really wants to see a piece of crap.

I dont know how tamil version is...

Tamil version is no better , though the DVD is far more acceptable
