I think these shots speak for themselves. Sharpness is weak (look at the "Emergency Declared" shot), colors are kind of drab. About the same quality as post-Kaaka Kaaka Ayngaran DVDs. The beginning of the film is a song played over old newsreel footage of the actual Kamaraj, and the end is another song with black-and-white newsreel footage of Kamaraj's funeral procession. Some print damage is present. The last little shot is a detail of the boy's red-checked shirt from the 8th shot. I didn't see any combing, and all shots were taken in force weave, though it is possible that it switches back and forth from progressive to interlaced. Overall a disappointing DVD for such a new release, even if it was low budget.
