Any idea, who authored it and whether it's Prog, Pseudo-prog or Field Averaged??

I own this DVD only because I saw this movie in India when it came out in 1988. It amazes me that Yash Chopra made the same movie 3 times (Trishul, Vijay, Parampara). I wish he would make it a fourth time, as anything is better than the syrupy romances YRF churns out now.

Authored by Super Digital and no fuzzyness in screen caps indicate a Film to NTSC telecine. Most likely it's Progressive as well.

Urbanlegend, could you please check if you get combing in Force Weave. This will confirm whether Prog or Pseudo-prog.

Is it Single Layer or Dual Layer (under 4.7 GB or over 4.7 GB??)

Thanks.

Has this been re-released at all? The reason I ask is that I'm under the impression that some YRF DVDs were redone - was this one of them? Am watching this on SET Max at the moment and wouldn't mind getting the DVD.

I could do. But I remember Yash Chopra once said in a Interview, its his least favourite film in his collection

Is the Prasad/re-done version better than this one?
