Villan (sic) DVD by Tamilini - anamorphic 2.35:1, decent colours and detail - similar to Ayngaran DVDs. DVD has both DD & DTS. Video looks pixilated.

Villan is your typical Tamil movie about the little guy going after the big dawgs. The movie is really similar to Vikram's 'SAAMURAI'. It was way too long and boring and dont have a single good song. The DTS on this disc was really harsh sounding. I also noticed pixelization on fast moving scenes. The only saving grace is Kiran's bouncin' boobs. Is this movie a hit? meh. :rolleyes:

I heard this film flopped at the cinemas...I thought the soundtrack was heavy :) especially "ore mathan" & "Hello" I hated the picturisation on them though.

The film was average, but it does have excellent fight sequences shot by Kannal. However K.S. Ravikumar's new film "Parrai" has better fight scenes shot by Peter Hain (from Run). Shame the screenplay and soundtrack was a dud. Me thinks Ravikumar is losing his midas touch....
