Thanks to urbanlegend here are shots of the Saagar DVD by Eros/DEI;

Hmm!! this saagar, kinda does not look kosher, something somewhere with shots? I'll check, mine and report...

But, in this case, mine looks the same, u check urs, rana? this does not look like one of the GOOD ONES, by DEI, but it is relative term...

Ali accidently posted that the DVD is ERO$/DEI which it is not, this is ERO$ only version after the split. Sorry everyone :p

Isn't this the movie where we got a glimpse of Dimple's tits, beleive its when she was bathing in by the beach? or maybe toweling her self off?

The cover might say Eros only - but this was still authored by DEI. I’ve got 2 slightly different covers DVDs of Saagar – spot the difference – it’s OK Rana, I’ll understand if you want to sit this one out :p (top DEI/Eros cover, both Eros only);

Disk scans;

Top is Eros only disc, bottom Eros/DEI (replicated by Dot Media - although I might have got the disc mixed up over time) But fact is video and audio is exactly the same on both discs – i.e. authored by DEI for Eros :bash:

They might well be another Eros/B4U rendition of Sagaar with different menus (together with remastered video i.e. interlaced) but I’ve not come across it. So screen shots by urbanlegend are from the DEI authored disc.

I agree, that was my point, I think GHatak is same way too..

I have top cover/top disc...same transfer., menues!

None have B4U logo, or DEI on bottom of spine!!

It was excessive blurriness in this shot that made me suspicious.
Now I wonder what kind of bit rate is required to avoid this kind of blurring in fast action?? As it is, bit rate for this scene is above 6.5 Mbps. Film element for sure didn't have this blurriness.

BTW,

1) My disc has only DEI markings. No EROS.

2) Insert shows Barood (Akshay Khanna, Raveena) and Mohabbat (Madhuri) as forthcoming releases. Looks like DEI-EROS split before DEI authored discs of these two filmf made their way either under EROS or under DEI-EROS label.

I'll standby to my opinion, SAAGAR transfer is not AS GREAT AS some of OTHER DEI work, I'll ceertainly check bit rate used , ur opinion is invite too, ali yaar!!? :baaa:
