Watched this today (god knows why?! because I've got a massive to-watch list and ever growing, so not sure why this got put on) it's a surprisingly decent drama and held my interest all the way to the end. Didn't have a clue what the film was about before hand and I'm not the biggest RGV fan :baaa: but Rann is something different, I wouldn't say it's great movie but definitely worth a watch. Sadeep who plays Ab's son in this movie is really good, don't think I've seen him any other film but he holds he's own against likes of Ab and Paresh Rawal.

Oh yeh few words on the DVD; although video is decent contrast/brightness/"coloured" it's poorly encoded onto DVD. I see Moser Baer follow the Eros philosophy of placing un-skippable ads that run on and on in front of the DVD, then watermark the DVD with "Moser Baer" throughout the movie - which is bad enough but to make it worse they also place hideous banner ads just incase you want to buy more of this kind of trash.

I watched this last night.. Really enjoyed it.. Pretty decent storyline and as ali said kept me interested all the way through... Unlike paa where i hoped aurowould drop dead so i could switch it off..

Either way its worth a watch.. Looking forward to teen patti...

The dvd is really bad.. Ads galore.. Really upsetting to know that a movie this good will be archived to a crappy moserbaer dvd.. Its highly unlikely well see a hd source or even a well
made dvd of it!!

Screen shots from this CINERGY DVD - no watermarks, no ads - but pretty much the same source with different menus. Moser Baer probably took this and processed with their auto ad machine :o
