Note on the credit roll screen the AR is close to the original 2.35:1 then typically zooms/crops to 1.85:1.

Spark was the official distributor of DEI dvd's at one time in the UK and Europe market
They were re-packaging DEI dvd's with their cover art packaging
Eventually they closed down and sold all their goods to moviebox

so in that case, i wouldn't call that copying

as far as blatant copying goes, the worst example i have ever seen is Eagle's DON (Big B) which is a direct DEI rip including the same menus (without the DEI logo of course!)

Repackaging is the same as copying because they don't make their own menu, they just remove the DEI & replace it with bollywood entertainment just like they do, however they do make their own dvds e.g. Khuda Gawah, Ajooba, Sadak, Awara Paagal Deewana etc. The least quality distributors I consider are KMI/Apollo/GVI/Spark they just all the same copy & repackage others most of the time

i know what u mean, but what i was trying to say is that they were re-packaging with official rights from original manufacturer, not doing it illegally

also, why should Spark re-master DEI titles when they were decent transfers to begin with? its not like as if they would make it better

the song was never included in any version of the movie, even on VHS as far as i can remember

maybe it was unnecessarily adding to the length so they deleted it
