I was trying to watch the DEI version of Aandhi for the past week and the DVD stops at the layer change. I was wondering if anyone has the BEI version and could upload from vob 1.4 ownwards, so that I can finish watching the film and have a backup of my own? I cannot find this version in the UK.

I can offer the same service to those who are experiencing similar problems on other titles?
Drop me a private post if your intrested.

I'm certain, none of Shemaroo DVDs is better than DEI/ BEI. At best, only 10-15 Shemaroo DVDs are the same as DEI/ BEI. Those are the ones that are PAL to NTSC converted Field Averaged (Both DEI/ BEI and Shemaroo).

Oh! Yeah! :)
So, does field averaging affect the quality?

Btw, I have a revised edition of Anand by Shemaroo which is direct film to NTSC transferred. Probably Shemaroo remastered Anand again, from the film. The quality in this version is very good. I don't know about the earlier edition of Anand. Probably the earlier one is field averaged.

I think the later edition is better than DEi

I've heard comments on the Shemaroo audio being better than DEi in other forums. While sengh_15's comments suggest than Shemaroo audio isn't clear enough.

Which one is better in terms of audio??

Also I've heard the DEi version having improper green and blue tints in a few scenes. Is that true?? Does it like affect your viewing experience?? However, DEi's PQ made me startle!!

I have neither of the discs..
