Ever since they have gone public thier company value has rise in the hundered millions (and I'm talking $$$ not Rs.!!). According to screen digest, they are now the most richest, and largest film distributors for Eastern cinema. Yet they still produce crap DVDs. The problem is that the consumers accept thier weak ass transfer without much complaint, and sadly we remain in the increasing minority.

Doesn't look like the disaster I thought it would be. It's probably PAL-to-NTSC judging by the combing, but the clarity is good, the framing is correct and - best of all - there's no blue tint.

Film is hyped and boring in the 1st half, 2nd half kicked in, still the personal story situations and comedy were corny and same old drunk scenes and predictable shaadi rigmarole theme you see in countless bw films.
Lingo was annoying, for example repeated words like dude, wus, chill etc do not make good comedy or script. Vydia disappoints, Sanjay and Circuit acted way better in Munna Bhai.
Below my expectations. Wouldn’t rate it as Oscar worthy or best film of the year.

i went to my local jb hifi retail store the other day and was surprised to see LRM dvd in their shelves..with full australian certification and everything..i was quite surprised actually because the only indian dvds they have in these retail stores are the ones released by madman..

i went to look at who the author of the dvd was but couldnt find any..there was an eros logo though so its probably the eros dvd..looks like there starting to release dvds here in australia through the main stream..

They've been doing this for quite some time now here in Canada(especially after the Sony DVDs of Lagaan & Mission Kashmir), I was at Blockbuster video the other day and saw copies of Bewafa & Main Hoon Na on the shelf.

Anyone got the Australian R4 of this then?

What are the chances of it having better pic quality? Would the Eros logo still be there?
