I sincerely hope that the public see sense and reject his future films if the ones he's made so far are anything to go by. Hey Baby was painfully unfunny, and Housefull was even worse. He needs to learn a lesson or two out of his sister's books.

If anyone deserves to fall flat on his face, it has to be Sajid Khan. Not only is the guy extremely arrogant and rude, he is also a totally trash director. You are absolutely right, in that his sister is miles ahead of him as a director and I say this even though I don't think that she has made any masterpieces herself.

Agree completely - I really didn't want to like Farah Khan's films as I think she is an over-rated choreographer, but I think she has made a couple of entertaining films - like you say, they aren't masterpieces, but I enjoyed them both. Sajid Khan seems to think Akshay Kumar is the best actor ever, and really has absolutely no sense of what is funny or tasteful.

I found 'Main Hoon Na' to be in the genre of Manmohan Desai's earlier films such as Suchaa Jhoota, Roti, Amar Akbar Anthony & Parvarish, ie. although over the top, but very good entertainers. These are the kind of films that I would slot in the category of mindless fun and not the crap that David Dhawan, Rohit Shetty, Priyadarshan direct now-a-days. I personally quite enjoyed 'Main Hoon Na', specially because of the music. 'Om Shanti Om' on the other hand, although not terrible, did test my patience a bit.
Quite honestly anyone who thinks that Akshay Kumar is a good actor, obviously knows nothing about acting or film making. All I can say for Akshay Kumar, is that he is a very hard working actor and one who has evolved quite a bit considering his limitations as an actor. I also think wifey Twinkle has had a lot to do with the evolution. As for Sajid Khan, he would not know 'tasteful', if it hit him smack in the face.

Farah khan / sajid have found way to churn shit with icing into cakes and unfortunately a lot still left
