I recorded RDB from the 4HD channel - they showed the UTV DVD. Including logos on songs. Hugely disappointed in Channel 4, expected this sort of behaviour from free desi channels on Sky.

Is there any point in recording this or OM SHANTI OM from 4HD when 1/4 of the pic is taken up by the subtitiles !!!!

Dhoom 2 now showing, cropped to 16:9. C4 really have gone downhill with these film presentations. Once they were known or preserving and show casing films as they were originally intended to be seen; original AR, proper subtitles, fresh clean prints. But seems they've done backward and are just replaying trashy DVDs. Not got access to C4HD but since most of these films have HD versions you would have thought they made they effort to get the HD versions for their only HD channel but I guess not. Slackers!
