Target for release is end of 2009. There will be short clips on Youtube in time (in HD 720p).

The clips will be downsampled from 1080p HD. No DVD.

Maybe. It could be delayed a bit. But work is progressing nicely. Expect a you tube teaser within
the next 4 weeks.

cool cant wait.any word on special features? will they be the same as the ones on the old dvd? also since it is a european release is there any preferred retailers that ship overseas?

Why is this thread titled 'DCH HD-DVD'? First of all I am not sure it was ever confirmed that 'Dil Chahta Hai' would be released on HD-DVD and if I remember correctly the only thing confirmed was that it will released in HD but the media was never confirmed. In any case even if it was planned for HD-DVD back then, I am quite sure that it is definately not going to be released on HD-DVD now. Thus would it not make sense for the thread to either be titled, 'DCH HD' or 'DCH BD' or 'DCH Blu-Ray'?

Also is this only planned for a European release and if so, will it be 'Region B' only?
