Saw it today.

Very likeable film. First half is just brilliant. Simple, sweet and excellent. An upscale & playful version of "Baaton Baaton Mein". The plot was going great and somehow the tempo changed midway. As far as I understood, they clearly showed Ranbir & Katrina proposing and accepting life with each other. Katrina may have meant differently, but to me her acceptance/ or her own proposal was crystal clear (on 2nd viewing I realized, it was a dream sequence). Then where did the character Rahul come from, later on ?? Along with Rahul, came the absurd routine Indian film plots. A continuation of first half with something similar to "Baaton Baaton Mein" would have been just brilliant.

But, despite that, film is great and IMHO it's impossible not to like the film or its lead youthful actors. No 55 year ones playing teenagers.

After a long time, that I saw an Indian film this good.

(Film length 144 min till start of end credits. Music video plays along end credits, after that.)

The CD is on repeat in my car!!!! Especially like Tu Jaane Na - Kailash Kher's version (although Atif's version isn't too bad either).

Saw this film a couple of days ago, and i have to say i enjoyed it (plus, i'm glad it was subtitled ;-))

About an hour into the film I thought it was going to finish, 'cause the story seemed to go along the 'happy ending' route with NO complication whatsoever!

But as Indian script goes, there was a twist, and it turned out to be an annoying one. The extra annoyance was with another actor, who plays Rahul, who (i think) might have been better playing a villain's henchman!

As good as Katrina looks, i'm not sure if she can act! Maybe i'm saying that because she is still learning Hindi...?

I couldn't decide if the film was trying to be a normal comedy or a slapstick one e.g. the last fight sequence.

But all in all, I'd recommend it as a good family comedy where you are sure to laugh - a lot!

I would rate as a bit tolerable DD crap, compared to atrocious do not disturb!
