Satyajit Ray Signature Collection

Watch out for these collector's delights from BIG HOME VIDEO at Rs.299 each in digipaks with outer slip cases. (They claim to) Have digitially cleaned and restored versions of Satyajit Ray films. Have option of original audio and newer 5.1 mix!! English subtitles available.

Also, each DVD comes packed with a collector's booklet that has reproductions of lobby cards, posters, folders, and also handwritten storyboards :-)

I got NAYAK (Uttam Kumar).

Is it PAL or NTSC ??

Recall, Criterion was involved in restoring many Satyajit Ray films and mastering DVDs. But, it was in PAL.

I'm sure this Signature collection from Big is from the same master but wonder if they converted it to NTSC for the Big DVDs ??

Does anybody know how the video quality is like on the Big Home Video DVD releases of Satyajit Ray's fims?
