Hi,

I'm new to this board and was looking for some help about my phillips dvd recorder! I just bought a dvd recorder yesterday and I hooked it up and everything, but it won't record most of the Indian dvds and says copy guarded... Does anyone know if there is any way to get around this??? I bought the machine so I could make my own song dvds and stuff like that... PLEASE if you have any suggestions or ideas to what I can do I would really appreciate it...

Copy guarded? Hmm...you sure your not just trying to make "illegal" copies of full feature films you naughty man. Is the DVD recorder a computer hardware, or an ordinary hardware deck?

sunny i presume sribaby has bought a stand alone DVD recorder.. the cop guarded i take is some sort of protection to ensure copies are not made.. Sribaby... kinda expensive method of copying songs onto DVD.. u shudve just bought one for ure PC they only cost around £300 much cheaper.. and im sure there are cracks around to get around the copy guard thing!!
