the buzz is that film producers and/or aamir khan's in the process of finalizing author for ghajini dvd. he and his dvd authors did a great job on the taare zameen par and jaane tu... dvds. hope he goes back to the same people. For these two movies, UTV and T-series had used this same exact transfer for their respective dvds in India (t-series) and overseas (utv). btw, t-series screwed up the replication at their end, resulting in quite a few tzp and jaane tu... dvds skipping and freezing during play.

EDIT: Not confirmed -- it's just buzz for now -- and as Bhaskar points out in his post below, Aamir is (at least not officially) involved in Ghajini production.

The film was released by Adlabs overseas. So I doubt the DVD would be by UTV.

Why would Aamir Khan be finalising the DVD author when he was only an actor in the film, and had nothing to do with the production?

more buzz is that shemaroo is authoring ghajini. whether shemaroo also distributes the dvd, and if it does, then will the dreaded "jet speed" replicate discs for shemaroo -- not yet known.

meanwhile, thanks Bhaskar, have inserted an "Edit" in the first post above. BTW, maybe it's my mind playing games with me, but I thought I saw the "AKPL" logo (the big lowercase "a" followed by "Aamir Khan Productions") at the start of Ghajini. Anyone else rememebers?

Yes saw this...but was hugely disappointed with this movie.

Yes went to my local theatre to see the film...I could have sworn to have seen that...

However, IF I am wrong...my humble apologies. I won't spend another 8$US to watch this disaster again. I'll take the 100 minute US version over a 3-hour epic about nothing but his ego.
