If you are asking me, no, I can't extract samples. I don't have the HW and SW for this.

I am not sure but it would be great if some could confirm this. A friend of mine played the BluRay on his home theater system he said the DTS track isnt true 6.1.

yup! then why he would buy original..lol :lol: I would recommend buying/enjoying criterion, the last emperor instead! way better film

No problem. I have a European PS3 as well and a hacked player that plays all. :-)
More of a problem is the mastering at 24.00 fps instead of 23.976. It creates dropped
frames with my video processor. I have to plug directly into the projector.

All you need to do is register at any English-language Amazon site and your details will be carried over to the French one as well. Then, it's just a matter of clicking the 'One Click' button to order.
