I HATED INDY'S CRAPPY SKULL due to OVER DONE CGI! But believe me CGI or NOT?? DRONA is SIMPLY PATHETIC FILM!

Well, I can't believe you. As my review indicates, I've watched it, and found it to be OK. It's not great, but it isn't "pathetic," either.

Yes, I haven't been around much, lately, and probably won't be around much in the near future, either. Infatuated with Abhishek? Hardly...lol. I'm just killing time until The Last Lear is released.

All that talk of 'Drona 2' is nothing but talk and an attempt to deride the abject and hugely humiliating failure of the film. Who want's to bet that it never even get's into production. Rather I am quite sure everyone involved with this piece of crap just want's to move on and forget abought the nightmare called 'Drona'.

I hope Ghai does bounce back. Same goes for YRF. If they carry on that way then they would be great gun targets! The rest of them, well, dont see no progress!

I really want to watch this, but Goldie's previous Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai was so disjointed and BORING, I worry. These negative reviews don't help, though I must admit I was in the minority who loved Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.

For those of you who liked it, did you also like Bas Itna...?

P.S. I sat through the torture that was Love Story 2050 for Priyanka, and I have yet to recover.

I, too, quite disliked Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai — really, all I remember it as is "that movie in which Abhishek lost some weight." I suppose I am in the minority that doesn't find Drona to be an utter miss, and I suggest, if you're interested, you go ahead and watch it — these are movies, after all: you probably won't die if it's very bad, and you probably will be able to stop watching if you just can't stomach seeing any more.

As for Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, I felt it was pretty bad, though the soundtrack I found to be one of the best of 2007.

Darn! Ali! Indeed 2050 was a pretty heavy priyanka laden torture! you can watch DRONA on your own risk  I am warning you though at least you can assess the TORTURE SPECTRUM

BISKH, at least SUSH was good! :D

Growing up, I fondly remember my love for comic books. No, not any of the western ones like Marvel or DC. I absolutely loved them, the comic books that I could get my hands on, both in North India (Haryana) and South India (Kerala). These were the "Amar Chitra Katha" series. These books slimmed down what were major epics or relevant happenings in history. I forgot for a few minutes that history was boring and enjoyed every word on every page.

When I read a bit in to the release of Drona, it looked like it was based on at least one of these Amar Chitra Katha series or standalone comic books. I stand appalled that the movie may not give any respect to its source material or even replicate the awe that I felt when reading the books. I will stop extending my thoughts on this in the hopes that something with some style and panache based on some Indian comic books is on the way. I think the Indian film industry has enough strength, at least in its own fan base, to have its own "Batman" or "Spider-Man." I haven't lost faith.
