It takes them EIGHT months to release the DVD and they still cannot get the 'Anamorphic' right or even get the specs right on the cover. Talk about incompetency. Does anyone have any contact info for someone in-charge at UTV? At the least we ought to express our outrage to Ashutosh Gowarkiar. Does'nt he have a blog of his own?

quick question -- if you have a conventional 4x3 TV which does not have a 16x9 or squeeze mode, would you still want to buy an anamorphic widescreen dvd or would you want to buy a non-anamorphic widescreen dvd of the same movie?

If it is not modified to pan & scan to fit your screen( old world logo now) you would be fine, letterbox/anamorphic, imho. buying anamorphic you are securing your future  just my 2 cents!

BTW , Deep I remember your comment aur kissi ne..... ya nahi now UTV ne really ......this shodha akbar :D

maybe im being thick but i seriously dont see the point of these reconverted jobs.. you really cant improve that much if the source is shite.. especially if your converting 4:3 to anamorphic..

Anamorphic every time. TVs ability to have 16x9 or squeeze mode is irrelevant as the DVD player will take care of outputting the video is the right format.
