Caught it today. I found it Average at best. Comedy was average too, nothing like No Entry or Welcome etc. Music too, I found it less rocking than from my car audio (CD).
Record collections must be because of excessive hype and large # of prints/ shows.
I kept on looking for surround speaker activity, found none. I wonder if someone noticed active surround in any theatre ?? Here at Cineplex (Coliseum Ottawa), when they started showing Indian films, it was a bigger theatre and sound was excellent with active surround. Now since they moved the venue to a smaller theatre (#2), a few weeks ago, I have yet to notice surround speaker activity in any film, including Hollywood films. May be, this theatre doesn't have DD ??
Like last time, again Flood lights came ON as the end credits started rolling, thus ruining the music video that runs along end credits. Management was adamant, I think it's an excuse, that lights are turned ON for patrons' safety ?? Take it or leave it attitude.
Film length: 2 hrs 15 min (from start acknowledgments to end of end credits, less than 130 min excluding acknowledgments and end credits music video but including start film credits )
My Hindi movie viewing dropped dramatically because of compromised sound whether played in Desi or Wilayati theaters! Sound is MOST OF THE TIME COMPROMISED, providing you half the show or even less for full $$$ , and I refuse to waste my time for that. I do admit there are the rest contributing towards their Income. As faddy said, I found NO ENTRY, WELCOME, extremely stupid, while Rana finds Singh is King less entertaining compare to NE/Welcome!
So bottom line is comedy/stupidness is virtue, very subjective what the viewers are looking for targeting entertainment value.
