although the video is cropped as soon as the opening credits end, this appears to be a better transfer than on the eros dvd of border.

farooq, your dvd is 2h 58min too... right?

Are there three Eros/DEI DVDs out there, or just two? See http://www.zulm.net/modules.php?op=modl ... e=&order=0

there's a dvd out by moserbaer / moser baer!
looks like all j p d movies are currently with moserbaer.

Just for the record, in India, an Eros DVD is available (replicated and/or authored by KRCD Mumbai, previously called Koches Rajes)... the sound is amazing in 5.1 but the (non-anamorphic) picture is butchered in more ways than one -- the worst being the cropping soon after the opening credits are over.

moserbaer BORDER seems to have more image -- abt 2.15:1 AR! and the AR stays constant throughout. (Eros and DEI ARs change to 1.85:1 once the opening credits are over... right?)

There's a Gold dvd of BORDER too, and which too appears to be less cropped than EROS.

I have this dvd and didn't know it was a solo DEI release, always thought that it was a re-release of the flipper dvd onto a dvd9. I had that flipper disc as well, but it started freezing on one side. Then, with the help of Afzal from IW, I was able to obtain this copy.
