Sajid Nadiadwala's next to be directed by Siddharth Raj Anand is said to be inspired by the Hollywood flick The Departed. According to our sources Saif Ali Khan will play Matt Damon's role and Ranbir Kapoor will play Leonardo DiCarprio's role.

The film will go on the floor by end of this year, after Siddharth completes his film for Yash Raj Films which also features Ranbir Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone and Minissha Lamba. This film too is said to be inspired by the Hollywood flick The Bachelors.

** It is called" chori pe chori, uss pe seens zori" and btw Ranbir's dinky is surely helping him!

Its already being remade with Salman Khan, and directed by Prabhu Deva.

This "Yash Raj" version is too late, and they need to seek permission from the Telugu producers of Pokkiri who own the India remake rights of Infernal Affairs.

Sunny, how much of Pokkiri was taken from IA? I have seen IA, but not Pokkiri.

The Departed and its original Infernal Affairs -- already very Bollywoodish in storyline...

I knew this had to be remade by Bollywood sooner or later. I can't say I'm looking forward to it, especially with their choice of actors. I wonder if they'd keep the original Internal Affairs ending or use the 'closure' ending of The Departed? I much prefered the IA ending as the Departed was catered for an American audience who can't take a negative ending or to leave things hanging.
