Rakesh Roshan’s ‘Krazzy 4’ that ran into legal soup following charges of bootlegging of music by brother and music composer Rajesh Roshan, seems to finally get a breather now. Young composer Ram Sampath who had booked the Roshan’s for directly lifting and using his tunes for ‘Krazzy 4’ has finally withdrawn his case now following an out of court settlement.
Ram Sampath who has to his credit early 3,000 ad jingles as well the music of films like ‘Khakee’ and ‘Let’s Talk’ had apparently slammed a compensation of Rs. 2 crore following charges of plagiarism. The High Court had already affirmed the allegations claiming the debarment of two copied tracks ‘Krazzy4’ (title song) and ‘Break-free’ from being used in the film.
Nevertheless Roshan’s who had denied the charges earlier gave in once the matter started to tilt towards Sampath. Now post agreement the film will be released with all the songs intact and Ram Sampath’s name added to the credits alongside with the film’s original music composer Rajesh Roshan.
