Nazar was directed by Soni Razdan, and it was written by Mahesh Bhatt.

Other films you could get:

Zakhm
Angaarey
Tamanna
Sir
Gunaah (Sunny Deol)
Saatwan Aasman (Vivek Mushran, Pooja Bhatt)
Jurm

Not sure if Gunaah and Saatwan Aasman are available on DVD, I'm sure I've seen the rest of them floating around though.

@ VDC - I heard Lahu Ke Do Rang was a terrible film and a huge disatser of its time. Arth and Saarash are films I need
to find.

@ Bhaskar - I heard terrible feedback for Gunaah and Angaaray. But Sir, Jurm and Tammana I have heard good
feedback of. Saatwan Aasman I have seen a copy of, is it any good?

Yaar Sengh! How can I count you as good/huge bollywood fan :D man jabke, na ijaazat dekha na Zakhm! Bhole badshah phir kaya dekha???? :(

Best is VS/SD disc, either pseudo prog or prog, but it is not anamorphic.

Ajay got credit for what Little actor did as his childhood role. Pooja being class act, lost to Kajol, i guess? for UNFAIR BOLLYWOOD AWARDS.

It will be that if aamir would be given best actor for TZP instead of child actor!

Well I have seen Zakhm but it was a while ago. Maybe on the first weekend of its release, some of the films back in the 90's I have to re-watch to remember. I could just about faitly remember Baazigar, Krantiveer and Aankhen. I had to re-watch them.

As for Ijaazat, if its a film with disturbing scene I will give it a miss. I recently saw Milan (1995) it had soem of the most disturbing scenes ever and some people gave it 5 out of 5.

I don't remember Gunaah too well to be honest - the main thing I remember is one of the songs - Ek Musafir Hoon Main. I thin Angaaray was ok, but again, don't remember it too well.

Sir and Tamanna have two fantastic performances from Paresh Rawal before he became famous for his comedy roles, and Jurm is a pretty decent thriller (although I think it's a rip-off of a Hollywood film). Saatwan Aasman was average at best (after all, Vivek Mushran was the hero  ), but had some decent songs .

I know what are u talking about!I do not like those kinda films myself! Ijaazat and Lekin are must watch.
I thought Krantiveer, Gardish, even baazigar were voilent.

ijaazat is just a drama, thoughtul story.
