Saw it on DVD.

Wow! What a hilarious comedy. Money chase plot in the 2nd half might be copied from "It's a mad mad mad world", but possibly the comic sketches are different. Really hilarious.

DVD encoding is Pseudo Prog where every 5th field/ frame is an exact repeat of 4th one. No chroma lag or one field info split into two.

I am glad! you approve it! only minus was CROPPING in criminal hands of shemaroo!

Comedy imho, is the most difficult genre to specify! and find common ground on!

Dhamaal plot sure is similar to (or inspired from) "It's A Mads Mad Mad World".
Anyone who has seen this film and still remembers the IMMMW, can you pl comment how much is it a copy and how much different ?? Are comic sketches different than IMMMW ??

Also, is this film more of a copy of IMMMW or was it Maalamal Weekly ?? I guess, it's Dhamaal ??

Dhamaal's scenes are lifted from johnny english, road trip, Rate Race-concept & end of the movie is based on this film.

Definitely well copied! I liked it.

In the age where 99% stuff is copied, a copy like this is welcome by me! clean, simple, family fun for a change!

The Darnest, dumbest as it can be stupid movie ever !! The premise pretty much of it from beginning just before the climax is copied from It’s A mad mad mad world, and in between comic scenes of Mr. Bean’s character (Johnny English) with just about all other scenes you’ve seen already from various movies thrown in it- the ganster bit, baby bit, cliffhanger, road rage, airplane etc.

The end is a complete tiresome rip off of Rat Race. The humor of Dhamaal is childish and corny. Slapping faces is not my idea of comedy relief.

What’s up with all those whistles, bells, horns and computer generated baby sounds incorporated as character’s vocals instead of characters using their own speaking voices?

Honestly don’t see how you guys can define this copied trash film as good humor family show-wouldn’t take my worse enemy to view it.

Just FYI - Javed Jafri's intro (where his hand gets stuck in the back pocket of a customer in a store) is directly copied from a Mr. Bean episode; the latter of course was much more enjoyable ;-)

i can't help noticing the many similarities with Bombay To Goa (the new one) -- are both inspired from the same hollywood/bollywood movie(s)?
