Went to see Harry Potter, and it was sold out, so decided to watch Naqaab instead. It had decent reviews, and was directed by Abbas Mustan..............and I wish I had just come back home instead. The fillm does appear to be original (I can't remember any similar film), but that doesn't really matter, cos it's a steaming pile of sh*te. It's even got a scene ripped directly from Life Mein Kabhi Kabhi......the leads look like they're trying to figure out what the hell they're doing in the film, there's the mandatory bedroom scene, cheesy millionaire's mansion, Akshaye Khanna trying to dance...............the film was laughably bad ........the entire cinema laughed out loud at one of the lines, and it was supposed to be a threatening line from the villain.

To sum up, I wasn't really expecting much from this, and I was disappointed!!!!! Need to dig out that DVD of Aap Ka Suroor to make up for it now..........

Got to see Naqab in theatre although it was supposed to be off from the theatres. Thanks to CASH release delay. I didn't find it boring or slow or predictable anywhere. Enough twists and turns to make a rope and then break because of excessive twisting. Only portion of the plot I didn't like was the KANK plot of 'cheating for no reason'.

Film has lots of twists and turns and is totally un-predictible at each turn. To make it un-predictable at each turn, some may find some happenings un-reasonable. But that can be expected.

BTW, Albion Cinemas told me that the film is being shown in DTS and they got the DTS CD with the film. Total lie. End credits showed DD logo only. No DTS. And Albion doesn't have DD system.
