Yep, these idiots are all desperate to get into Bollywood. And these screenshots kinda make me glad that I haven't seen the film - it looks pretty embarrassing!!!!

the BWT screenshots look different to the ones off the retail. Is that a pirate?

The BIT screen shots are surely from a different source (pirated DVD). The YRF DVD shots look 100 times better than the BIT screen shots, and the BITscreen shots show that the DVD picture is messed up with it being stretched.

They are both from the original YRF DVD. Unfortunately taking screen shots in different formats (PNG, JPG, BMP etc) and using different packages (PowerDVD, WinDVD, VLC etc) can produce highly subjective results, not to mention the effects of having different GFX cards, displays & their calibrations have on our eyes.

Screen shots Arsh posted are at the original DVD resolution 720 x 480; ones I posted have been scaled to a 16:9 ratio (720 x 405) – roughly the same ratio you’ll see them on a wide screen TV – hence they don’t look stretched.

Guys the reason why a 2.0 track is introduced is to preserve the full quality of the 5.1 DD mix.

If you use a full scale 5.1 mix on a TV without adjusting and reducing its audio quality it will blow the speakers.

To preserve the quality of the 5.1 DD track and for those who dont have 5.1 they can play stereo so that the 5.1 mix is not dumbed down for 2.0 listeners.

dont simply say give 5.1 and be done with it when you talk about dolby and quality , DTS yes there is no way it can be dumbed down and they dont do it as well.

the 2.0 track has a ridiculous bitrate though and on this dvd takes up the same amount of space as the 5.1

There's less than 4.7 gig given to the video on this disc, which is not large enough for a 131 min movie.

lakshmant, don't the DVD players output in stereo? the tv doesn't do any of the conversion. 2.0 track in not necessary.
