This has to be the worst bond movie i've ever seen. This was a stand alone spy movie, much like the second Mission Impossible movie. Craig was a very bad choice to play bond and the entire movie was bad. I don't understand how anyone could have liked this movie. That's just my opinion.

I don't understand how people could say this is the worst Bond movie and Craig the worst Bonds. If you call it a stand alone spy movie, you should blame the Novel and Ian Fleming for creating the character. Many people don't seem to know this is a re-booot of the franchise and the first book in the series. Anyway the vast majority Bond fans as well as users of IMDB and the general public have said this is one of the best Bond movies of all time and Craig one of the best Bonds, and I guess that's what really matters.

Jb007, I agree OHMSS was one of the best Bond films too and Lazenby was underrated.

TO READERS - - THIS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS

Booorrrinnnng! gritty bond be that as it may, Craig sucks. beginning action scene was lame - - bond chasing a guy who runs and leaps over buildings like superman batman, the worse part was Judy Densch whining about like a nag. Bond girls looked swweeeet!
why the romantic part had to copy straight from ‘Here to Eternity’ beach scene, very ingenious. Shower scene and gambling scene dragged.
Best line (paraphase)- bartender speaks to bond: ‘Vodka-Martini, shaken or stirred?'
bond replies: 'Do I look like I give a dam.’

Actually the romantic part (on the beach) was inspired by a scene in Thunderball, an early Bond film. It is still one of the most popular Bond films amongst fans and is even ranked 187 out of IMDB's top 250 films of all time. I wouldn't argue with that.

Sorry, but 6 months later and I still think it's one of the best Bond films, but I don't expect bollywood fans to have good taste in films since most support an industry that constantly produces majority crap films that insult the intelligence of the average human being.
