Sardar Akhtar (Sardar Begum) appeared in lots of 40s films as heroine. She also played a lead/ semi-lead role in O P Ralhan's HULCHAL (1971) as Madan Puri's wife. I remember from that time where Sardar Akhtar was referred as K. Asif's wife ??

Imdb has no mention of it and I might be wrong.

for sure I saw her in Pukar as Dhoban who is brought for justice infront of Noor Jehan played by Naseem Babo aka Naseem pari chehra! mother of Saira Bano!

I did not see a dvd of that, otherwise could have given you a picture.
