Can you guys recommend some decent sites to get mp3s from? I'm looking for all sorts - Hindi, R'n'B, Bhangra - the lot!!

Try #apna-movies on the dalnet server system (IRC)...you'll get all the new hindi soundtracks there.

Avoid this site,..... Shitty Mp3's....these are all Real Audio Rips and not CD rips !! also bit rate is a pathetic 128/44 ratio :D

EAC/Lame rips are the best IMO

Go to http://www.mirc.com and downlaod the MiRc client (in windows..) You can use XIRC or JIRC under Linux.

Once there start the client and you will get a pop up window indicating which server/network you want to enter. You should see "Random US Dalnet network". Click that and press..join network and once u are logged on (with a nickname of cos !) you can type
/join #apna-movies and u will enter the channel

There u will hhave to trade songs with the folks who are there.. Some keep fservs and some do just simple trading. Further help can be obtained from the channel window !
