Don't know about anyone else but from those shots the look of movie and characters (apart from Gabbar) sucks big time. This is going to one big mess.

disagree, gabbar is thus far the most disappointing part of this film. casting amitabh as gabber is a huge blunder by ramu

Ajay Devgan is Veeru? you know, Vivek Oberoi should have been veeru and AD Jai. Amitabh could have been the Thakur. Is mohan lal still Thakur?

I am not very happy with the way Sholay no 2 is headed.

Well, Jai is the silent guy who makes all the big decisions. Veeru does all the talking, PR stuff and kind of follows Jai. both are equal partners in their petty crimes and all the action involved.

with that kind of characterization, the Ajay/Vivek duo sounds like a no brainer.

yeah amitabh's get-up and his whole look is sad. I have no idea how the famous face-off between gabbar and thakur will look with the current actors.

honestly, I am a lot more excited about sarkar II and nishabd.

I still maintain, especially looking at that clip, that Gabbars the main attraction to the movie, the rest I have very little hope/expectations for.

I wouldn't give this effort even a second thought were it not for Varma's recent masterpiece, Nishabd. Now, I admit I'm an Amitabh-Bachchan fan, and that would probably have gotten me into an opening-day seat no matter what; but, Nishabd is what has me actually really looking forward to "Ram Gopal Varma Ki Sholay." Of course, I don't expect it to compare, in any regard, to Ramesh Sippy's original, but I hope Varma's project is, at least, a good time.
