Sanjay, I think it's a bit condescending of you to basically assume that people who disagree with you are doing so really only out of an unwillingness to "face the truth." More than a fair number of people (I, one of them) believe that Amitabh Bachchan is still not only intensely talented, but still an immense "box-office draw"; that, then, is the "truth" to this group. I find it beyond a misunderstood

Well why did Amitab go to Yash Raj and say that he is broke. It was then that he got all those tailor made roles..

Sweetfriend....when you refer to a godfather...are you referring to when AB started out or his 3rd innings?
And more than Mohabbatein it was KBC that brought AB back!

If stars cannot be critized or if fans cannot take it then that is too bad.Especially when they quote and give no response to said quote hehe

Ummm....i asked you a question....simple one at that regarding "ab having a 'godfather' in the industry"......all i asked was for clarification in that.
As for favourite stars being criticised.....I have no problem with that....but when people make ridiculous statements like john being superior than AB in Aetbaar....then what can one do but laugh!..

Honestly, I rather liked John Abraham as he debuted in Jism; and in his second, Saaya, too, he impressed me. Come Aetbaar, though, I had to re-think whether or not I'd been credible in giving him any merit as an actor. I liked Aetbaar (and loved Amitabh Bachchan's [very "real"] work in it), and found it seriously hurt only by John Abraham (whom I found to be an immature, hammy performer who had no sense of his character) and Bipasha Basu (terribly, terribly mis-cast). I just thought I'd put in my two cents' worth... 8) .

Exactly, he has only gotten better with age. He is the GREATEST actor today. Way better than Shah Rukh would ever or could ever hope to be. No actor in India has his charisma or style.
