I can't navigate through my TimeWarner HD box due to HDCP issues. It gives me a warning screen at the touch of ANY button on the remote. It doesn't change channels. It's stuck on TNT. It's asking me to switch to components. I WAS outputting over DVI.

Anyone else in the US experiencing this with their cable providers?

Not sure, but with my HD Dish Network box I usually have to hold the power button down on the box for 10 seconds and reset it when I get the black screen of death on all channels every now and then.

I'm using components till I can get a HDMI/DVI cable run between my TV and the HD box.. Too lazy to go to ebay and buy one!!

I will try to see if holding the power button down works. thanks for the suggestion. if that doesn't work, I might have to get a components switcher/adapter as I only have one component input, which is being used by the dvd player.

anyway, a quick fix for cable/wires/adapter needs: http://monoprice.com/home/index.asp

pretty cheap, and good enough :) fast service on my order
