Hyde Park, Adlabs tie up for film-making

MUMBAI: Ashok Amritraj's Hyde Park Entertainment Group and Anil Ambani's Adlabs Films have joined hands to co-produce international films. The business arrangement, inked in Dubai on Wednesday, involves Adlabs investing in Hyde Park's upcoming ventures.
While the exact investment by Adlabs is yet to be disclosed, sources say Rs 150 crore will be put into its first co-production, David Ellis directed horror film, Asylum.
"This tie-up will help us access new markets as well as big-ticket international stars. It will also help us to market and promote our films overseas," said Manmohan Shetty, CMD, Adlabs.
Investment by Adlabs will be on a film-to-film basis. Sources say four to five films are being looked at in the first phase.
